Extracurricular STEM Programs Are Extra Fun!

After School STEM Programs

Do you think that you have an interest in a STEM field but want to learn more about it? Do you love to experiment and try new things? Do you want to hang out with friends who have similar interests? If so, you should consider making science, technology, engineering or math part of your extracurricular activities. There are more organizations providing extracurricular classes and activities than ever before and there are probably some in your own community. With a quick internet search, you can find out what is available. Also, be sure to check with your teachers at school. They might have the information you need.

Code Ninjas is an organization with locations all around the country. Visit their website to see if there is a Code Ninjas near you. With Code Ninjas you learn to code while building games and learning other important skills like problem solving. There are many exciting careers in coding like: website developer, business analyst, software engineer, and app developer.

Little Beakers is another awesome organization with locations in Utah and Texas. Little Beakers offers after school science programs, but they also offer other options like camps and workshops, open lab and even Birthday parties. Imagine how fun it would be to have your Birthday at Little Beakers where you could run experiments, dissect worms, and work in a real lab. Visit their website to learn more and find their locations.

If you know of some other great organizations that provide extracurricular activities, I’d love to hear from you. Share a comment and let’s spread the word!
